| Again one of the wonders of the Galapagos islands. After
sunbathing for a few hours, lying flat on the ground, they have enough
energy to jump in the sea and have diner. Marine Iguanas are the only
Iguana species that like to swim and the only Iguana to
eat from the sea. The marine iguana is very social. They live in large
groups and tend to sleep best if covered by at least a few of his friends.
The male iguana can get quite colorful when it’s mating season, as shown on
one of my pictures.
